PRESS RELEASE Dothan, Alabama The Wiregrass Children’s Home and Mike Schmitz Automotive Group are pleased to present the Honorable Mike Huckabee as the Keynote Speaker for the 2008 Charity Benefit. The casual 7:00 p.m. event will be held at the new Dothan Convention Center on Ross Clark Circle North on May 1, 2008. Mike Schmitz Automotive Group is sponsoring the festive evening complete with musical entertainment by the Harvest Praise and Worship Band. As the former Governor of Arkansas and a past U.S. Presidential candidate, Governor Huckabee will present an inspirational speech on children. In addition to serving in public offices, Governor Huckabee has written several books with the most recent being “From Hope to Higher Ground.” General admission tickets are available for $10. Tickets are also available at $250 for a VIP Reception at 5:15 p.m. The VIP reception includes a photo opportunity with Governor Huckabee and a signed copy of his latest book. All tickets sales will be donated to the Wiregrass Children’s Home.
