Subject: Hello

Mr. Meck,

I finally found you again. I am originally from Geneva, AL and use to
listen to The Coach and The Meck every night when you were on the air. I
think it was 103.9. I had the honor of meeting you at the P-Nut Festival
one year and you took me to your van and gave me a T-Shirt. "It's Time to
Smell The Cornfields Baby" I will never forget it. I wore the shirt to
school ans my buddies would always ask how did you get that shirt man? I
would always say I have connections.

I graduated in 1997 and joined the U.S. Air Force. I was stationed in
Oklahoma, Japan and currently in Ft.Walton Beach, FL. Nothing like the south.
I was wounded on 2 March 2007 in Iraq by an IED and currently healing at
Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C.

I was looking through the internet and I found you and information on
your new show. I just wanted to share my story with you, so I decided to
email you. I always respected you for what you believed in and how you
expressed yourself. I remembered a quote from you that went like this "
It's not how you start the game of life, but how you finish it. That is so
true. God has a plan for me and tells us in the bible that he will allow us
to prosper. I don't always understand why I got hurt, but I know god has a
plan for me and I look forward to seeing his new plan for me when I am out
of the hospital and back home in the South.

Mr. Meck I want to Thank You for a few minutes of your time and I look
forward to downloading some of your radio shows. Take care and God Bless.

Meck:

My son, Broxton, loves your video Hitting, Catching, and The Game of Life. As you well know, he also enjoys watching and learning from Javy! The time has come to "Smell Those Cornfields". Broxton began his first season in Confederate League on April 17. The day started with Opening Ceremonies and then we were thrilled to have our son start as "catcher" on his big day! We were all a little apprehensive about what this experience may consist of for each of us. It was a great day! Now that we are about half way into the season, we had a grand compliment after our fifth game. The coach for the other team came to Mike and asked him "this is your catcher's second season isn't it?" Mike beamed with pride! Very calmly Mike said, "No, he is one of our seven year olds. This is his first year". The coach began to discuss with Mike that there was no way, "he is too good". Mike never let the coach know that Broxton was his son, he just let him know that he would pass along the compliment. As we talked to Broxton about it, we discussed how important it is to remember that someone is always watching you. We know that God gave him his talent but we also know that your video helped him to understand and develop his skill! Broxton will refer to TIME as LOVE and let everyone know that he has learned from "The Meck" and "Javy". Thanks for all that you do for young people. We appreciate the chance that you have given Broxton to actually wear Javy's gloves and learn from him about the game of baseball! We just know one day that Broxton's path will cross with Javy and he can personally thank him too! In the mean time, KEEP SMELLING THOSE CORNFIELDS BABY!!!!!

May God Bless You,
Marianne

Meck,

My husband and I ordered both videos to help us coach our son, Dylan in baseball. However, we found them to be more than instructional videos. Pitching and The Game of Life with Denny Neagle and Catching, Hitting, and The Game of Life with Gary Carter and Javier Lopez are great videos for the entire family. They offer easy and helpful instructions to teach young ones the game of life. Both videos are humorous and will inspire your family. Every baseball fan will love them! My favorite part about the videos is how obvious it is that they were made with friendship, love, compassion, and of course TIME!

Keep Sharing,
Jana Greeson

Subject: Baseball and Javy Lopez saved my child.....God bless them.

Dear David,

I’ll try to condense this letter even though I have much to say. I was grew up in Atlanta but moved away due to work back in the late 80’s. Work brought me back to the city in 2000. My wife didn’t want to leave her job in Kansas City, thus she stayed behind. My daughter, Erika, was 10 at the time. She has been a daddy’s girl since birth. Where daddy is, that is where she wants to be. When I moved here, the plans were for the rest of the family to follow in a few months. My wife decided she wanted to stay in KC. That created a problem with my daughter. She wanted to be with her daddy but Kansas was the only home she had ever known. Her friends were there. Here house was there. Her security was there. It was decided though that it was best for her to be with me. In December of 2000 she joined me in Atlanta. She has always been a child that has “rolled” with the changes, but I was concerned that may be more than she could handle. The first 3 months were difficult. An “A” student dropped to B’s and C’s. I would hear her at night crying. And I can assure you that she heard me crying occasionally. Macho goes out the window when you deal with your child. I felt helpless and prayed for the answer to this problem.

My daughter had never been interested in any sports with the exception of Ballet (I guess it could classify as a sport). I had not been to a major league ball game in nearly 10 years. I thought that maybe by going to the Braves game, it would open her awareness of other things to do in Atlanta. Braves vs. Mets (April 2001). Not a bad first game for her to see. She quietly took in all the sites and sounds of Turner Field. She asked a bazillion questions, but answering was a pleasure because I saw that for the first time in 3 months she had forgotten about her sadness. She first saw Javy on the Jumbo-tron. She thought he was cute and immediately became her favorite player. By the time we left Turner Field, all she talked of was baseball and Javy. That night, she didn’t cry herself to sleep. She hasn’t since that day. Her baseball interest became an obsession and Javy was leading the way. “All Braves, all the time” was her motto. By May, she was making straight A’s again. She was smiling like she used to. She was happy again. I had my child back! She not only was no longer a recluse, she wanted to play softball, though she admitted not knowing what it was, just that it was like baseball and she wanted to be like Javy. We began playing catch in the back yard. Throwing with my daughter… I guess like Iowa, a back yard in Sugar Hill, GA, was heaven as well.

It took a while, but we finally got to meet Javy in person at a Braves power lunch in Atlanta. She swore that he would be the nicest, most kind person in the world. Growing up I had been able to meet my sports heroes and sometimes they turned out to be, for lack of a better word, jerks. After lunch Javy was inundated with autograph seekers and a couple dozen women wanting their picture taken with him. My daughter, being only half their size was pushed to the side on the mob. I could see the disappointment in her eyes. Tears began to trickle. All of a sudden security ushered Javy toward the elevator. As he passed my daughter, he stopped and said hello to her. He asked her name. She extended her hand. Shook it and said that she was a big supporter of his. He said “Thank you… thank you for coming out today,” and with his smile, she melted! He turned and got on the elevator. I can’t describe the look on her face, but the struggle of the past was gone from her. She looked over at me and started laughing. She wanted to know why I had tears running down my face. I hadn’t even noticed. Everything in her room is Javy and the Braves. A month ago, she ordered the Gary Carter and Javy video. Upon its arrival yesterday, she and I sat there and watched it twice last night. The reference to corn fields and keeping one’s dreams and hopes burning was so wonderful. The lessons of baseball and life are intertwined. Thet ape showed that and most importantly, Erika understood that too.

Thanks again for listening to this saga. Baseball, Javy, your tape and my love for this child has made a difference that will undoubtedly last her a lifetime.

God Bless You!!!!!!
Ed Levy

DEAREST MECK:

I CAME ACROSS YOUR WEBSITE BY BLESSING. I WILL BE ORDERING YOUR VIDEO "CATCHING,HITTING AND THE GAME OF LIFE" IN THE NEAR FUTURE. ALSO, "TIME SPELLS LOVE".

WELL, I WANTED TO SHARE A PERSONAL STORY WITH YOU REGARDING JAVY LOPEZ.

I AM A BRAVES FAN AND THE GAME OF BASEBALL HAS BECOME A STRONG BONDING TOOL BETWEEN MY TEN YEAR OLD SON AND I.

I FIRST TOOK MY SON JOSEPH TO ATLANTA ON HIS EIGHTH BIRTHDAY TO SEE HIS FIRST BIG LEAGUE GAME. THIS HAS NOW BECOME A BIRTHDAY TRADITION FOR HIM.

I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW MY FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. JAVY LOPEZ KNOWS THAT TIME SPELLS LOVE.

SO MANY FANS ARE IGNORED BY THE PLAYERS WHEN SEEKING AN AUTOGRAPH. CHILDREN'S HOPES AND DREAMS ARE SHATTERED AND CRUSHED WHEN THEIR FAVORITE PLAYER WON'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR PRESENCE.

I'VE LIVED IT AND SEEN IT THROUGH OUT THE YEARS WHEN TAKING MY SON AND HIS FRIENDS TO ATLANTA.

HOWEVER, IN 2002 WE WERE AT TURNER FIELD BEFORE AN AFTERNOON GAME TRYING TO GET SOME BASEBALLS SIGNED BY THE PLAYERS AT THE PLAYERS PARKING LOT.

NO ONE WAS SIGNING...AGAIN. I HEARD JAVY LOPEZ HAD NOT ARRIVED TO THE FIELD YET. (HE IS MY FAVORITE BRAVE . I JUST LOVE HIM.)I KNEW HE DROVE A CADILLAC ESCALADE THAT YEAR SO I TOOK THE BOYS ACROSS THE STREET HOPING THAT WE
COULD CATCH A GLIMPSE OF JAVY AS HE ROUNDED THE CORNER BEFORE ENTERING THE PARKING LOT. MECK.....WHAT HAPPENED NEXT WAS UNEXPLAINABLE. WITHIN 15 MINUTES JAVY CAME DRIVING BY IN THE ESCALADE. I STEPPED OFF THE CORNER SLOWLY, AND JAVY STOPPED IN THE ROAD AND ROLLED HIS WINDOW DOWN. I WAS STUNNED! I COULD BARELY SPEAK! THE BOYS JUST STOOD THERE IN AWE! I MANAGED TO ASK JAVY IF HE WOULD AUTOGRAPH A BASEBALL FOR US AND HE DID! MECK - WHAT WERE THE ODDS OF THAT ENCOUNTER? IT TOUCHED MY HEART HOW JAVY "TOOK THE TIME" FOR US. THE BOYS HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN THE DAY MOM GOT JAVY'S AUTOGRAPH. THE DAY THAT JAVY LOPEZ "TOOK THE TIME".

OTHER BIG LEAGUERS NEED TO FOLLOW JAVY'S EXAMPLE. WE WERE AT TURNER FIELD LAST WEEKEND (09/20/03), FAN APPRECIATION WEEKEND....NOT ONE PLAYER SIGNED COMING OFF THE FIELD FROM BATTING PRACTICE. NOR DID THEY SIGN ON THEIR WAY IN OR ON THEIR WAY OUT. "FAN APPRECIATION" WEEKEND ATLANTA?

WHEN I GOT HOME SUNDAY....TONY GWYNNE WAS COMMENTING ON ESPN HOW IT WAS FAN APPRECIATION WEEKEND AT TEXAS AND HOW THE PLAYERS WERE SIGNING AT THE MAIN ENTRY PLAZA BEFORE THE GAME AND DURING BATTING PRACTICE. THAT ADDED SALT TO THE WOUND.

IN CLOSING....JAVY LOPEZ IS AN EXCEPTION....A PLAYER AND INDIVIDUAL THAT IS SET APART FORM THE REST.. HE IS TRULY A MAN WITH A HEART...A MAN WHO KNOWS THAT TIME SPELLS LOVE.

THANKS FOR SHARING THE TIME WITH US JAVY THAT FALL DAY IN 2002!

BLESSINGS,
LEIGH ELLEN LAYCOCK

Hello Mr. Meckley,

I just wanted to thank you for the great site that you have. I also wanted to tell you that the man you talked to on the phone from Rhode Island, about the Javy Lopez video was my father. I can tell you that he really appreciated the way that you talked to him, as he told me some of your conversation. I can tell you that living in the North you really don't hear people who are respectful as you are, in fact there aren't many people up here that you would enjoy talking to because of how they treat you. I remember trips to the South, down in Florida and my family would drive down so we used to stop at different places, and I cannot tell you how nice of a break it was to meet people who would actually start friendly conversations with you.

I just finished reading the latest interview that you did with Javy and thought that you mentioning us was really nice of you, and it was something that I really appreciated. The video that you made was GREAT i really enjoy watching it. Watching the video and reading the different interviews that you have done with Javy, saying how great of a person he is, and everything, I realize that he really is someone that touches a lot of people and it's not hard to see why. I have only been a fan of Javy for about 3 years now, and I can't even begin to describe how much that he means to me. However, I am sure that you have some idea considering how long that you have known him, I just can't get over how caring he his and of course he has that smile that could light up a room.

I am sorry I didn't mean for this letter to be as long as it is, but I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy coming to this website, and am thankful to know that there are still people out there who really care about others like the way that you, Mr. Lopez, and Mr. Carter do, by giving your time. Because like you always say T-I-M-E spells L-O-V-E. I think that is something that everybody should come to know.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

Sincerely,
Kaitlyn Fligg

Dear Meck,
Thank you so much for writing me back! I wasn't expecting to get a response so soon...if at all! :) I guess I should have written you sooner since you saw Javy on Easter! I was looking at your web site again and I came across one of your old interviews with Javy. He was talking about how he was a Christian and how much he had grown spiritually since his mother's death. I had no idea that he was a Christian. I think that it is wonderful and very respectable of him to talk about it openly. Most people that are as well-known as him aren't truly saved. And it sounded to me that he was really sincere. I have a new respect for him now. I just don't think of him as a cute ball player anymore, but as a man of God. :) Well, thank you again. I'm sorry to take up so much more of your time!

Dear Meck,
Hello! My name is Stefanie Holman and I am 15 years old. I am also a HUGE Javy fan! I was looking at your web site and I came across your interview with Javy. I think it is so neat that you get to just hang out with all sorts of ball players! Anyway, I was writing to ask you for a huge favor. I've been trying to get Javy's autograph for a long time. I have come very close at times. I even resorted to chasing Javy up the street one time after a ball game! :) I was wondering if you could ask a special favor of Javy the next time you see him and get him to autograph a picture or a ball or a napkin or anything for me. :) I'd really appreciate it a lot if you could. I'm running out of options! If you get a spare moment, I'd appreciate it if you could write me back. My e-mail address is:

Thank you for responding me again, I was very flattered the you want to know more about me, no I don't mind if you post my comments on your site. well I'm 26 years old, I have two boys, Eric jr 6 yrs, and Kelvin who is 7 months old and just learned how to crawl. I live in Virginia because my husband is in the Navy and is getting ready to be rinstated to active duty and then be transfered to a ship. I am a medical assistant and work for a family and pediatric doctor. I was born in Ponce and raised there, I moved away because of military life. I never been to a braves game yet, too busy with kids, and work and dealing with on and off deployments. I sure appreciate your quick response and I never understood that about TIME is LOVE until I had children and experianced my first military deployment seperation from my husband. You can share with others of my comments and post it on your website, and also; the main thing that I learned from your website is that, LOVE has no boundries, no color,no religion,no hatred, just kindness and conpation of others and the time that you give to others has no value but LOVE......Thanks... Dear Mr. Meckley,
First of all I would like to compliment you on your website as well as the video you did with Javy Lopez and Gary Carter. My late mother purchased the video for me as a birthday gift in January of 2001 and she died during the summer of that year. I treasure the video because it was the last gift she gave me. She LOVED Javy Lopez which was rather odd because for 80 some years she hated baseball...until she became interested in Javy. He gave her GREAT joy the last few years of her life and one of the last things she asked me before she died was how he was doing. I have been a Javy Lopez fan since I first saw him catch and that made me love him more...for what he did for her.
I am REALLY upset about what has happened in the last few weeks as are all my friends who are Braves fans. The thought of losing Javy at an really bad time in my life is almost more than I can bear at thins time. Do you think he is gone for sure. henry will never be able to put the offensive numbers that even and injured Javy did last year and I doubt Estrada will be able to either. Kevin leaving was a huge loss especially after we lost Tommy, Chris and Damian!! Is there anything that we as Braves fans can do to express our ire to Braves management......a petition or even emails?
Thanks again for your wonderful work and may God bless you and your work!
Sincerely,
Ginny Greene .. Charlotte NC

Hey this is Robert Corban.I am the one who's mom ordered it for me on my birthday.I liked it a whole lot and so did my parents.I am a big Atlanta Braves fan and my favorite player is Javy Lopez.I collect baseball cards and I have tons, but 162 of them are Javy Lopez. We are going to some Braves games on May 25-27,and July the 13-15.I hope to see you there if you are there. Sincerely,Robert Corban

Hey Meck, I am smelling the cornfields today because of your video. I ordered the video for my 8 year old son for Christmas. Little did I know the impact this video would have on my entire family. My wife, who knows and cares very little about sports, watched the entire video. We laughed and cried together as we felt the emotions shared by you, Gary, and Javy. Oh yeah, the instruction was good too. The best part of the evening was at the end of the video when my son, David, came over to me and hugged me and thanked me for the video and for all the time i spend with him. This made all the sacrifices worthwhile. As you can see, I am a believer. Keep up the good work. I will definately be ordering more videos.
Best wishes and God Bless,
Jeff Andrews

Whats up boss!? I haven't heard from you in a while and just wanted to say hello.I'm in D-town trying to soak in some Christmas cheer. The website looks awesome! Keep up the good work brother. Later.

I DID receive the video and watched the whole thing!! It was VERY professionally done. I was very impressed. I especially enjoyed the first 15 min.or so and the last 15 min. or so. The 'introductions' and the 'game of life' were more in my ballpark. You know that I haven't ever been too knowledgeable about sports!! As far as the song... I love it, very beautiful, very meaningful, and much, much more.

Love,
VK

[ This is the great couple I met in New York... See World Series Diary]...OCT 28 2000--Dear Dave we love the video! I can't wait until Luke [who turned one yesterday] is old enough to watch it. Meanwhile, I 'd like a copy for my Dad. He is the biggest baseball fan ever, and I know he will love it. I am enclosing a check for $64 to cover the tape you gave us in N.Y. plus one additional copy with shipping and handling.

It was great meeting you and talking with you in the cab. I hope you enjoyed the Series as much as we did. I'm glad your buddy Denny got to pitch Wednesday. Look us up if you come to Memphis. The Knight Arnold location of our restaurant (East End Grill) is not too far from the airport, and Christian is there most lunches. Thanks again for the video; I know we'll enjoy it with our son.

Take Care,

MECK!

Hey! How are you? You will be happy to know that I FINALLY watched your video Saturday night (and it only took me how long to get around to doing it....). I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was so fun to see you out there playing baseball with Javy and Gary. Plus, hearing all the stories was cool, too -- like when you brought Boston to the game, and there was a picture of Jim and Glen standing there with them! I absolutely LOVED the pictures of Jim and Glen! And Javy looked absolutely ADORABLE! Apparently I'm not the only one who loves his smile! :)

So, I'm not sure I'm ready to be a major leauge catcher yet, but I'm closer than ever before thanks to that instructional video! Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you. You'll have to let me know the secret to making friends with so many cool people! Hope you're doing alright,

Hey, Meck - I'm really enjoying the video - so far. Haven't had a chance to watch it all the way through yet but I've already learned a couple of things about catching - and I'm now watching other major league catchers to see how they stack up to the instruction in the video!

Both Gary and Javy are absolutely terrific - knowledgable and enthusiastic, y'all look like you had fun making this - and excellent role models, not just on the field but off as well. As I mentioned when I called, I'm a Gary Carter fan from waaaayyy back, and he's one of the reasons I ordered the video. But I have to say I'm becoming a big fan of Javy Lopez as well - not only a talented catcher, but he seems like a genuinely nice person too.

I originally intended the video for my nephew, who hasn't seen it yet (he lives out of town from me) but I think I'll be keeping it in MY collection.

Oh, and the song is just beautiful - love is spelled T I M E - what a lovely philosophy and one I will adopt. I'm so glad I found your website (and thanks for the Ontario, Canada mention :) ).

Hey Meck -
It was great talking with you today. I look forward to getting the video - I'll watch it along with my nephew! I may even order another to save for my son, Matthew. Who knows? He may be a Hall of Famer someday. Also, my condolences on your father's recent passing. I visited your web site, and the memorial service looked like it was very touching.
If you talk with Javy again soon, please send him my regards and let him know how glad I am that his baby is doing well. Feel free to pass on this email, also, because I, too, am the parent of premature babies. My twins, Megan and Matthew were born January 3, 2000 - three months early. Megan weighed 2 lbs. 6 oz., and Matthew weighed 2 lbs. 8 oz. They were in the hospital for 2 months, but they are now doing great! At nearly 7 months old, Matthew weighs 14 lbs. 5 oz., and Megan weighs 13 lbs. 6 oz. I can relate to Javy and Analy as parents; it's a frightening time when your child is sick and hospitalized. I think all parents of preemies realize the special miracle their child is. All children are miracles, of course, but preemies are extra-special, because they fight so hard to stay alive. Please let he and Analy know that I continue to pray for their son - thanks.

Meck,
Just wanted to let you know that I received your video yesterday and my son, wife and I watched it together. It was great! I have loved this game for many years thanks to my father. I have 3 son's of my own now and we have spent many hours in the back yard and at the Ball Park through the years. Baseball has been a big part of our lives and continues to be. My youngest son is 13 now and playing Babe Ruth this year. I have been a Braves Fan since 1968 and my whole family is now. We make it to Atlanta a couple of times a year to see them play. Javy Lopez is one of our favorities, I had picked his #8 to wear on my jersey this year as the coach of my son's team. I also really liked Gary Carter through the years, he always seemed like a class act. I always loved the way he would watch the batters to see if they were taking a peek.
Again I appreciate the video as it is not just another instructional video that you see so many of. But you guys really love the game and you love people and trying to something good for others. My son Lee wears the #10 for his favorite Chipper. We came to the Braves Fanfest 2000 in Febuary this year, I stood in line for 3 hours to get Javy Lopez's autograph. And worth every minute. I met some very nice and great Braves fans while waiting. While I was waiting for Javy my wife(Tammy) and son (Lee) got Andrew Jones and Keith Lockhart's autograph.
Great Job on the video and keep smelling the corn!

My review of "Catching, Hitting and the Game of Life" with The Meck, Gary Carter and Javier Lopez:

I first saw the ad for this video a few months ago in ChopTalk. It caught my eye right off because, I have to admit, Javy Lopez was in it! But I did order it - not for myself, but for my nephew, Brandon. As a 27 year old mother of 7 month old twins, I have no aspirations of becoming a catcher. But my nephew is going to play baseball next Spring, so I thought it would be helpful for him. I received the video 3 days after I ordered it from The Meck, which is remarkable time for Postal Service - trust me, my husband works for the Post Office; I know how slow mail can be! My curiosity got the better of me, and I watched the video before I gave it to my nephew. If you don't have this video, you should get it, whether you are going to play baseball or not. It's great for anyone to have - it's informative, professional, well put together, and inspirational. I pride myself on knowing a lot about baseball, but I learned so much more after watching the video. It was interesting learning about Gary Carter and Javier Lopez's personal lives at the start of the video. They worked so well together throughout the instruction portion of the movie, and everything was very simply put so even a small child could understand it. All in all, I have to give "Catching, Hitting and the Game of Life" 2 thumbs up!! I may even order another copy to keep for my son, Matthew. Who knows? I could have a future major leaguer in my home! Great job, Meck.

Meck,

I am from your hometown and loved hearing you on our local Christian station. I have missed hearing your interviews, etc. I admire the stand that you are taking and involving some of the many role models that our children look up to today. They need to be able to have these and they certainly need morals and Christianity to shine from their life. Keep on keepin' on.

Great Site!!! I wish the Braves Luck this year. I'd like to see them go all the way. The Braves are a first class team because of the players such as Javy. I hope Mark Derosa gets a chance to play some this year or if Weiss is traded next year he can share SS with Furcal, but I guess my opinion doesn't matter much. GO BRAVES.... Christine/Balt.MD

Meck,

The video arrived today. Thanks so much for sending it. Even though I was a part of the crew, I was impressed. I found the usual technical flaws we production hacks look for but outside of my "Oh my god" complaints you have a first rate product there. I'm sure you are proud. I can't say enough. I had to watch it twice, once for the critic in me and once to bask in the "Job well done" mode. The bucks should start rolling in.

I was "invited" to do the sound mixing on this project. Going into it I must admit I approached it as just another "industrial video" job. Boy was I wrong. To preface things I am not the biggest of sports fans nor do I follow baeball that closely other than the Atlanta Braves being my home town team. I new this was going to be an extremly long day, and I was preparing my self for the duration. I was intoduced to Gary Carter not knowing who he was or his background. Very out going and gracious but I had my professional concerns due to the fact that most personalities of Gary's stature may be talented on the field but once infront of the camera don't posess that "professional talent" quality required of an actor. Javy Lopez, very sincere and gifted catcher but again the same doubts lingered in my mind.

Tape rolled, the microphones were hot and my doubts and fears were quickly eased and the charisma and charm posessed by Gary and Javy played to the camera. Each explained the art of playing the position of catcher with such ease and unbelievable deatail that I had to remind my self that I was there to work not to learn how to play catcher. This video went far beyond just the mechanics of playing catcher. Gary and Javy touch on attitude, mind set, and most of all the philosophy of what makes a good catcher. Those 3 things alone are worth the price of this video. I know I learned alot in making this project and having had the opportunity to spend time with Gary and Javy can say first hand you would greatly benefit from lessons and methods these 2 ball players have to offer. This is a video with a message about life, baseball, and winning.

Thanks Gary , Javy and Meck it was a privledge to work on the project.

Hey Dave great web site.

Hey Mr. Meckley - what a coincidence. I coach a lot of Baseball, my 14 year old son is an outstanding player, and a co-worker showed me your video. We are related somewhere, as my parents were from the York, Pa. area. Send me an e-mail & we'll talk!!I have gotten training for my son from Bill Robinson, who does a great job as well. I think your video (only saw the Catching so far)is both professional and very informative. Keep it up. I'd love to get together if you're in the NJ/Phila. area, or if I'm in Fla.

Hey Meck! Ordered the video last Saturday, and it arrived on Wednesday. Today is Saturday, and I had to sneak it out of my son's room while he was still asleep to finally get a chance to watch it myself. It is AWESOME!! Just love the music, and the background info as much as the teaching aspects. As a single mom, our situation is a little different-I am the basball nut, and Javy is my favorite. We actually got to meet him at FanFest a couple of weekends ago-the video brought back the whole experience of meeting him. I have two sons playing ball and they are both exceited about the teaching parts as well as the interviews. One of the boys is 12, and a catcher on his little league team. He got his own set of equipment for his birthday in January-and the video was an extra gift. Thanks so much for staying with your dream and getting it done. Can't wait to see the Denny Neagle one you told me about on the phone-thanks for the information you sent us. You're whole operation is a class act!!
